What starts as a needed bathroom break can end up a fun little side adventure while on the Road to Hana. Once again, take advantage of these bathrooms as they come up. No one wants to wait hours for the next bathroom!
Across the street from the bathrooms, you'll find a small trail that leads to a small waterfall and small swimming hole. Don't expect this to be an epic photo opportunity, but these 5 acres are a great place to walk around a bit and cool off with a quick swim!
There are picnic tables here, and you'll find a few friendly cats to keep you company. If you packed a lunch, this might be a nice to hang for a bit!
We recognize the use of diacritical markings of the (modern) Hawaiian language including the ʻokina [ʻ] or glottal stop and the kahakō [ō] or macron (e.g., in place names of Hawaiʻi such as Lānaʻi). However, you may notice these diacritical markings have been omitted on some parts of this website to ensure the best online experience for our visitors. We recognizes the importance of using these markings to preserve the language and culture of Hawaii and respectfully uses them in all communications beyond the online platform.
